Ralph Sam is Operations Manager of Measurement, Learning and Evaluations (MLE) unit at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, where he leads the design and implementation of large-scale surveys and impact evaluations. He holds an MPhil in Agricultural Administration and a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Ghana.
With over a decade of experience, he specializes in survey methodology, data systems design, and advanced quantitative analysis. He has provided technical leadership on high-impact research and policy evaluations in collaboration with international partners, including USAID, Oxford University, UNICEF, and the World Bank, with a focus on agriculture, education, and socioeconomic development across West Africa.
His research interests include agricultural economics, productivity and welfare analysis, and the application of data-driven methods to inform policy and development practice. He also contributes to academic and professional capacity building through teaching and mentorship in research methods, data analytics, and computer-assisted data
